CROFTON
After watching the old Cowpen dredger and the mechanical grab dredger for years, a rumour went about that we were getting
a new dredger. It was to be a state of the art suction dredger that was like a huge underwater vacuum cleaner, when it
arrived from the Clyde half the town turned out to see it and what a beautiful thing she was with sleek lines and
pretty paintwork not at all like the cumbersome old Cowpen, dont ask where I got these photos from but I have had
